Something else I love about summer: I get to take Fallon on playdates! I am so blessed to have made some close friends with children the same age as Fallon, and that Fallon’s taken her own liking to those children.


One of the little girls of our group, Maddy, is only 6 months younger than Fallon and those two have recently become quite the pair. By frequently holding hands on their way to anywhere, not withholding any amount of affection for each other, and lighting up the world with their giggles and squeals of delight, these two have me hoping and praying their friendship continues to blossom as they get older.

And by the way, Grayson (the boy), might be one of the most awesome big-kids ever. The girls just love him.

Alaina, another little one of our group, is also a fond favorite of Fallon’s, and is also only about a year behind her. These two wouldn’t allow me so much as a sort-of-clear photo as I chased them from one room to the other the other night.

What a blessing to have so many friends with whom to play!
