Adventures in Kennesaw

Even though we haven’t had the opportunity to travel this year, Mr. Almeda still opted to take a week of vacation from work to enjoy some family time (and of course, later wake up times). After some recommendations from friends, one of those days we trekked to the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield for some exercise and exploring.

Unfortunately, we weren’t initially aware that the trails were not stroller friendly (unlike the Silver Comet Trail). That didn’t deter us though, we simply turned around, returned the stroller to the car, and headed back up the mountain for some hiking at the pace of a three year old.

Testing the anxiety levels of her daddy (we’re still working on Mr. Almeda’s aversion to so much as a scratch landing on his precious baby girl), Fallon had a great time climbing and jumping along the trail.

We’d go again, but next time we’d probably bring water, some snacks, and a change of underwear and pants for the shortest member of our crew.
