First up, the Ugly Sweater Christmas Party!
Well, after spending hours scouring Ebay and the rest of the internet for the perfect (reasonably priced) sweater, I believe the ones we landed certainly met the criteria. So, Friday night, we donned our gay apparel and headed to the Christmas party.
Who could have anything other than a bad time when surrounded by these wonderful ladies (and their husbands...not pictured)?
The next morning, just out of sheer procrastination (really didn't feel like housework), I decided to try something new with Fallon's hair. An hour later...I had a new child who appeared about two years older! Hmm, yes, we are a fancy bunch.
The following weekend, we headed back to the Latham home to decorate some ornaments. I am very proud of my little lady's creation...and even more proud that she did it all herself!
Fast forward to today...we hosted our first playdate in our home!
We had 4 year old Elijah, 3 year old Micah, 2 year old Maddy, 14 month old Kezzie, 11 month old Caden, and 10 month old Dylan come by to help Fallon really make use of her playroom. They also (don't tell my husband) completely raided the man cave as we constructed reindeer out of candy canes and decorated Christmas tree ornaments with sparkly glitter and rhinestones.
Here are Micah and Fallon, awaiting an explanation as to why we interrupted their playtime to sit them infront of these boxes.
Fallon's starting to catch on...
Then came the sparkly Christmas trees. This craft, evidently was Fallon's *thing,* as she was very clearly not happy when we asked that she and her friends pose for pictures with their reindeer which meant she'd have to stop with the rhinestones.
But she got over it. The reindeer turned out adorable, with everyone extra-proud of his or her creation.
I am so thankful to be surrounded by so many wonderful people. It's truly amazing how our lives continue to be blessed as time goes on.
